Villalgarve is offering you holiday homes in Praia do Carvoeiro and Ferragudo, Algarve, Portugal. Praia do Carvoeiro is a great village for a wide range of holiday seekers with a big choice of restaurants, bars and shops. Ferragudo is a great village for those searching for a quiet village, but still offers enough entertainment.  

While Carvoeiro still remains the small village that it has always been, it has of a lively center with a great choice of shops, restaurants and bars. The local entertainment program provides live music, parties and dance throughout the summer season. There are so many beaches around, you'll be spoiled for choice. For those searching for tranquility, in 2014 the board walk was opened. This wooden walkway can be followed into "The Seven Hanging Valleys" hiker trail. A 6 km trail along the rocky coastline of Carvoeiro, with the longest stretch ending near Praia da Marinha.

Ferragudo still has the looks, and breaths the atmosphere, of a fisherman's village. Strolling the small streets that lead from the square to the church will take you straight into holiday mode. The village square is the social meeting point, locals and tourists gather here every day late afternoon until late at night.  

Water-slide parks 'Slide & Splash' and 'Aqualand' as well as award winning park 'Zoomarine' are within a short driving distance from Carvoeiro as well as from Ferragudo. The golf courses of Gramacho and Pinta are located between our 2 holiday homes and Vale do Milho, Penina, Silves golf, Palmares and Amendoeiras are close by (about 15 min. driving time). Carvoeiro Tennis Club (12 tennis courts) is only a short drive. Shopping malls 'Algarve Shopping' (9 cinemas) in Guia and 'Aqua Shopping' in Portimao will satisfy all your shopping needs. 

Boat-trips to Benagil cave are available within walking distance of both properties. Daytrips to 'the end of the world' Sagres, mediaeval Silves and Monchique mountains are easily planned and made from both Carvoeiro and Ferragudo.
